2. For those doing the second research paper, you should have a bibliography of your six sources (at least 2 of which are primary documents).  You might consider writing your US House Representative for help in your research.

April 29th - bibliography (list of at least 6 sources, at least 2 of which must be primary)
May 7th - claim / thesis statement
May 14th - research paper outline
May 20th - rough draft #1
May 27th - rough draft #2
June 3rd - rough draft #3
June 7th - Paper Due

For those doing the book reports:
Both book reports are due on June 7th.  However, if you turn in the 1800s book report by May 31st, I will grade and provide feedback, which will help you on your second book report.

Due Friday:

Choose if you are going to do a research paper or 2 book reports.

The research paper topic must be anything relating to US History after 1800.

If you choose book reports, one book is about something or someone in the 1800s and the other book is about the 1900s or 2000s.  Each book report will be 4 pages with same formatting requirements as the research paper.  The 1800s book report will be due May 15th.  The 1900s book report will be due June 7th. 

Due on Friday is the research paper topic or the titles/authors/book information about the book report selections.
